Dating Tips: Korean guy is the MOST ROMANTIC GUY part 2

It's been a year! Finally the date arrived, even though we were NO longer in relationship however that memory still stick on my mind like it was yesterday!ㅠㅠ Sometimes we wonder how could it be?? People says LOVE is blind but I guess its not true, its just people were blind. ㅋㅋㅋ Sometimes we tried to deny it so hard but we can't help it, the feeling of falling in LOVE. We can lie others but we never can lie to ourselves.ㅋㅋ

Before this, I once wrote about is it true that Korean guy is the most romantic guy on earth?? As I said, it depend on that individually not the nationality. We also can never measure how romantic person is as every of us have different preference. Maybe for some people, a guy who cook for his girlfriend/ wife is romantic (as portray in Korean drama a lot!) but some felt its ordinary action as sharing duty is normal these days. ㅋㅋㅋ

Next is, in certain Korean drama scene, some guys like carrying their girlfriend/ wife bags when they going out but in real life can you really see this?? or its just simply from the script?? ㅋㅋ I'm not sure about others but my ex DID ㅋㅋㅋ, I never asked him to carry my handbag but he simply told me to give my handbag to him until at one point I almost lost it! You can read it here. ㅋㅋㅋ

Another romantic gesture, how about walking their girlfriend home?? Well Korean guys were taught to be politely since they were kids, this is normal for them.ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Not NECESSARILY between lovers, why I said this?? Its through my own experience or maybe I'm lucky?? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

During my 2013 trip, as I arrived at Seoul quite late, and since I was too tired, I forgot my exit so I simply exit the nearer door! I walked but I couldn't find my way to the guesthouse! I used same path everyday while I'm at Seoul, ironically I lost!ㅋㅋI found a guy waiting for a bus, so I asked for direction. Thank God he can speak English well! ㅋㅋㅋ He asked around as he also have NO idea which way we should go, we kept walking until I saw a landmark and remember the way!ㅋㅋ I told him I remember it now and thank him for his help but he refused to walk away instead kept walking with me until I reached in front the guesthouse!ㅋㅋ Isn't it funny? I DON'T know him, we were STRANGERS but he told me its dangerous for a woman to walk alone at night, so he walk me home! ㅋㅋㅋ

Do you think all of those actions are romantic in your eyes and makes Korean guys scored more compare to others? ㅋㅋㅋ  For me its because of how they been brought up!ㅋㅋㅋ not about their nationality ㅋㅋㅋ because any guys from any nationalities also can do that too! ^^

p/s: Ok my Ex score more in my eyes as he love to serenade for me!ㅋㅋㅋ However that's because he has talent and there are so many guys out there have that talent too! Again not about their nationality but because his personality/individuality.ㅋㅋㅋ

p/s: A song, that he wrote and compose personally for me!ㅋㅋㅋ Sorry I can't show his faceㅋㅋㅋ but I hope you guys enjoy it! ^^ I think after this I should look for a guy who can play piano?? :P ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ ahh I guess I better look for someone who always be there for me through thick and thin ^^

Guideline: Towel

For those who ever visit Korea, I'm just curious, did you guys experienced any culture shock once arrived at their guesthouse or motel??! Why am I saying this?? O-o Did their accommodation is too bad or mess??ㅋㅋㅋ Don't get me wrong! As far as I know Korea is one of the MOST cleanest country and having a GOOD reputation in lodging service I've been to! so what culture shock I'm talking about then??? O-o

It's their TOWEL!!ㅋㅋㅋ All of you must be wondering why out of blue I chosen this topic right? ㅋㅋor is it too personal topic??ㅋㅋㅋ Don't think the other way!ㅋㅋ While traveling, towel is one of necessary item to bring along, yes normally every guesthouse, or motel they will provide guest with towel however sometimes it's beyond our expectation!ㅋㅋ That is one of reason I always bring my travel towel for my trip!ㅋㅋㅋ ^^ Ahh I guess some of you might wonder why I didn't mention hotel right? well I'm back packer traveler so I don't like to stay at fancy or luxury hotel while travelling ㅋㅋㅋ

I've been to many guesthouse or motel in certain country but I never experience this! Normal size for towel is between 76 cm x 152 cm however towel that's I've seen at their lodging is really small!!! ㅋㅋ At first I wonder, ok maybe this is their face towel??!! So I went to search for bath towel, maybe its inside closet?? I've see none of it though!ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

I was thinking of asking at the front office but then I realized, I think I miss something! Ahh, they used small towel!!ㅋㅋ That's why at every room they provide about 4-6 small towels even the room is only for two person! ㅋㅋㅋ Their towel is very small, not even can cover your private part well! ㅋㅋ ^^~ sorry guys today's topic might be a little bit inappropriate?!ㅋㅋㅋ

Ok enough about that!ㅋㅋ My point is if you are UNCOMFORTABLE with small towel, PLEASE BRING your OWN towel before travelling to Korea! You were lucky enough if you had room with ATTACHED bathroom! If you had to SHARE shower room with others I think you might had BIG TROUBLE then! ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

p/s: This entry mainly focus for MUSLIM/MALAYSIAN travelers or anyone that feel its uncomfortable for showing their skin too much. ㅋㅋㅋ

Throwback# Places: Gwangalli Beach ^^

It's Autumn, thinking of hitting the beach? Why not??! ㅋㅋ Maybe some might think "its cold, why would going to the beach??!" Well I'm not finish my sentence yet ㅋㅋㅋ I didn't suggest you to go and swim at the beach! ㅋㅋㅋ What am I saying is strolling along the beach at night will be fun especially with your love one. ^^*

There are many beaches you can choose in Korea, to walk side by side with your love one; but I personally suggest Gwangalli Beach, at Busan. Why Gwangalli beach??O-o I believe many of you know how spectacular Gwangalli Bridge scenery at night!^^ Plus if you are lucky enough, counting stars while strolling along the beach would be MOST MEMORABLE moment!^^

I've been here a year ago with my Ex bf, it was nice walking side by side even if it was too cold! (its in autumn) ㅋㅋ. Apart from strolling we also playing fireworks too. ^^ I don't, because I'm too scaredㅋㅋ but he played!^^ He also told me that many people visiting Gwangalli for playing firework with their love one. Many Korean couple come here and play firework together. Yes I saw many Korean couple here while we were there. ㅋㅋㅋ

Gwangalli beach is located at Suyeong-gu, Busan. Famous with fine sand, 64 m wide, and 1.4 km long. This beach have been undergone a water cleaning program and now it attract many fisherman. You also can prepare raw fish dishes here. For those who love sashimi, they can try to fishing here. ㅋㅋㅋ If you come over here during day, you can try and enjoy many sport/water activities but of course with fees charges. ㅋㅋ

p/s: Perhaps you should list this activity to do with your love one when you were in Korea? ㅋㅋㅋ

It's October! ^^ Month that full with cultural event or festival in Korea! Be it in metropolitan city or in rural area, its an exciting seasons for local as well for tourist!! Anyone who plan to go to Korea within this month, makes sure to check out October Event Schedules! There are so many events that you can see and perhaps experience yourself? ㅋㅋㅋ

For last week there are few main event held throughout Korea, like the closing ceremony of 17th Asian Games, and Seoul International Firework but I will not talking about those event ㅋㅋ Our focus today is "cultural event"! Of course main cultural will be Korean culture as I'm writing about Korea, however for this weekend "Itaewon Global Village Festival" will start!

This event not only focus about Korean culture but also will be participating by foreign culture (I guess those expatriate who live in Korea will join in)  For anyone who interested to join the event you may refer it here. I'm not sure if any of my Korean friends will attending this event, maybe I should check it out with them!ㅋㅋㅋ

Lets' get back to our topic!ㅋㅋ On last weekend, one of my Seoul Friend had a chance to attend "Hanseong Baekje" Cultural Event at Olympic Park, actually his main plan is to snap firework pictures during this event but it was too cold so he went home.ㅠㅠ Since he went to the place early so he managed to attend Hanseong Baekje Parade.^^

Hanseong Baekje refers to an era between 18 BCE and 275CE of Baekje Kingdom. I read about it but somehow I found out its quite tough to write it here.ㅠㅠ I love history but I'm not Korean ㅋㅋ so I don't know much about it.ㅋㅋㅋ For more information about it read it hereNo need to write much lets see pictures that been snap by my friend. ㅋㅋㅋ

p/s: Even though South Korea known as one of most rapidly changes country these days, they still preserve their tradition, cultural and etc! I guess every country should do that too! ^^

Throwback#Places: Eurwangni Beach

As Muslim traveler, looking for halal food is very IMPORTANT for me whenever I go to any countries. ^^ When I went to Korea for the first time on 2012 with my other 2 travel mate, we were bit struggling to locate some of halal restaurant especially in Incheon. While killing our time before boarding, we decided to heading to one of MOST FAMOUS beach for final sightseeing and grabbing our lunch! ^^

At first we were thinking of going to Sido Island (place where they shooting Full House, Korean drama fan will know what am I talking about!) ㅋㅋㅋ However we think its NOT a good idea to go there as we need to ride 10 minutes boat/ferry to reach the island! We were running out of our time and don't wanna risk ourselves for miss our plane!(What if something happen, like raining and ferry cannot go back to mainland)ㅋㅋ After google for few minutes, we decided to go to Eurwangni beach! ^^

Eurwangni beach located at Southwest of Yongyudo Island which been said near to Incheon International Airport. However, we don't think its very near as it takes around 45 minutes from airport to the beach!ㅋㅋㅋ Don't worry, you can take bus straight from airport to this beach by interval around 15 minutes.

This beach were famous for gentle slant with average of 1.5 meter depth and beautiful white sand. When we were there, we strolling around the beach but we were not sure if the sand is really white or probably white sand definition for Korean is different from South East Asian people?? ㅋㅋ because our white sandy beach really bright compare to their beach.ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

One of attraction at Eurwangni beach is the seafood shop lot! There are so many seafood shop lot there with super fresh seafood! Nyum! ^^ I will write a review about one of seafood restaurant we've been in Eurwangni beach in separate entry! ㅋㅋㅋ Apart from that, another attraction are seagulls. When we were there, we saw a group of women picnic near to the beach and at the same time one of them feeding the a group of seagulls and those seagulls were tame? ^^ I even snap some of their photos. ^^

p/s:  I saw in someone blog saying that Full house shooting place (in Gwangyeok-si, Incheon) is NO MORE available as it DEMOLISHED by typhoon on April 2013. While for those who plan to go to Eurwangni beach you can refer it here.
