Most of us AWARE that LIVING in Korea is TOUGH! NOT only in term of HECTIC schedules, but its includes COST of living, UPTREND culture and etc. I'm sure some of you MIGHT know about REPLACE driver in Korea (as seen in Korean drama) isn't it? Well NO worry I'm NOT going to talk about that ㅋㅋ. However there are FEW more EXTRAORDINARY job that KOREAN do in order to SURVIVE living there. Some of these JOB is quite ODD to us though. ㅋㅋㅋ
A JOB like a PROFESSIONAL GAMER is IRREGULAR in certain COUNTRIES isn't it? Includes here in MALAYSIA, we know that many PEOPLE love to play GAMES but its only for FUN. Personally I NEVER heard SOMEONE in Malaysia become PROFESSIONAL GAMER as their CAREER.ㅋㅋㅋ However in KOREA some of them WILLING to QUIT their JOB and FOCUSING to this CAREER! I was like, WHAT???? It's UNBELIEVABLE isn't it?? but that was the TRUTH! ㅋㅋㅋ
If any of you have KOREAN friends, I'm sure you WILL heard this almost EVERYDAY, I'm PLAYING games now!! When it comes to the GAMES, some of THEM can be GAME MANIAC! Why I said that?? It is because they can EAT, and SLEEP in front of their COMPUTERS or LAP TOP and play it WHOLE days long!!ㅋㅋㅋ I CAN'T imagine if I LIVE in the same ROOF with them! That's might makes me BLOW up!ㅋㅋㅋ
I did ASK some of my KOREAN friends, what MAKES them like this. Some of them SAID it's one of their CULTURE or they have NOTHING to do at HOME. They get USED to it since they was YOUNG, somehow its make them become ADDICTED to it!ㅋㅋㅋ Like I said before,in KOREA PROFESSIONAL GAMER is NOT a funny things. Some of them even EARN 6 figure contract, date SUPERMODELS plus been treated as A LIST CELEBRITY!! O-o Wow! NO wonder many Korean become ADDICTED to it!ㅋㅋㅋ
Another FACT is some of us might think VIDEO game industry is NOTHING isn't it?? Surprisingly in KOREA this industry did DRIVE their NATIONAL GDP!! How COULD it be?? Well most of us know that their INTERNET speed is the FASTEST speed in the world isn't it? This connection ALLOWED them to subscribed GAME at HIGHEST rate within the SAME time. The rate is be 25.4 per 100 residents compare to America, 16.8. Even though the subscribe RATE is high MOST of them actually PLAY the games OUTSIDE their house, which is at PC BANGS/INTERNET cafe. With a CHEAP rate per HOUR plus it almost EVERYWHERE it does make SENSE that GAME activities become FAVORITE to KOREAN.ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
p/s: Ok enough, I DON'T have any INTENTION to discuss this topic in SERIOUS manners yet only in LIGHT way.ㅋㅋㅋ For those who have KOREAN friends and sometimes FEEL what?? still PLAYING games?? Welcome to their WORLD, get USED to it, its ONE of their MODERN CULTURE/LIFE.ㅋㅋㅋ
